— A Home Designed for the Rhythm of Life

For these homeowners, design was never just about renovation.
Even before receiving their keys, they reached out to Boldndot — knowing this would be the home they would live in for decades.

From the very beginning, they could see that the developer’s layout and fittings didn’t suit their way of living.
She loves cooking and needs a kitchen that flows effortlessly, with generous counter space and power points exactly where they’re needed.
He values order and quiet.
They both wanted their daughter to have a space that could grow with her.

At first, they considered keeping the renovation minimal.
But they soon realised:
If you’re going to settle, you might as well not do it at all.

Kitchen · Built for the Way They Live

A scattered kitchen flow. Limited storage. An island with no power points.
For a family that cooks often, these weren’t small inconveniences — they were daily frustrations waiting to happen.

Together, we made a bold choice: remove all the original cabinetry and unnecessary walls, and re-plan the layout from the ground up.
The new open kitchen now flows effortlessly, with extended counters, integrated outlets, and a generous work surface that makes cooking a pleasure, not a chore.

Master Suite · Where Dreams and Daily Life Coexist

Just before construction began, the homeowner voiced a quiet wish:
“Could we add a bathtub?”

She worried there wouldn’t be enough space, or that it would mean losing the shower.
We approached it with our 舍得 philosophy — knowing what to let go of, and what to keep, to make space for what truly matters.

Without sacrificing the original shower or storage, we reorganised the layout to make room for a freestanding bathtub — fulfilling a long-held dream while keeping every function intact.

Daughter’s Room · A Space to Grow With

This isn’t a “children’s room” frozen in time.
It’s a space that will grow with her.

We chose low-saturation off-white and soft blush tones — avoiding an overly childish feel while keeping a sense of warmth and playfulness.
A pegboard wall lets her decorate and change the space as she grows.
The curved desk and low storage make it safe, accessible, and truly hers to use.

It’s not just a room for her. It’s a room that belongs to her.

Study · A Quiet Corner for the Mind

The homeowners needed a place for focus — without feeling boxed in.

We kept the study calm and neutral in grey and white, with an L-shaped desk for flexibility, open shelving for display and storage, and soft lighting that supports both work and quiet moments.

It’s a space that feels quiet, yet grounded.

When the Home Was Complete

The homeowner told us:

“Every time I walk through the door, I quietly say to myself — this is where I want to be.”

At Boldndot, we believe good design is more than making something look beautiful.
It’s finding the balance between what’s appropriate for the space (合适) and what’s truly right for your life (适合).
And it’s having the wisdom to know what to let go of, so you can have what matters most (舍得).
